Meet Beatrice Achen
Registered Psychologist · BA, MC, R. Psych.
Beatrice is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a member of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta. She actively pursues ongoing training and stays current with the latest research and therapeutic techniques. She values the relationship between therapist and client, aiming to create a safe, non-judgmental space to explore thoughts, emotions and experiences, identifying the stuck points and working toward meaningful change. With a strong background in clinical neuroscience, she recognizes that our brains are capable of remarkable adaptability and growth, and prioritizes giving clients practical tools for everyday life.
Specialized, not generalized
Formal CBIT certification and focused training in tic disorders and OCD set this practice apart from general counselling.

A published clinical neuroscience researcher, Beatrice brings evidence and an understanding of the brain to every session.
